Returning To The Newspaper Business In 1913, He Became Director, Secretary- Treasurer, And Assistant To The General Manager At The Free Press. Mccurdy Was Business Manager Of The Tribune In 1924 And Was Appointed Vice-President And Managing Director In 1936. In 1942 He Was Named Vice- President Of The Southam Company And Publisher Of The Tribune. He Retired From The Tribune In 1948 After 48 Years In The Advertising And Publishing Business In Wiinnipeg.
